| Description: | NMC is looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative in North Platte, NE.
General Responsibilities
• Take customer orders in store and over the phone
• Help other technicians and mechanics
• Pick parts and fills orders
• Shipping and receiving
• Perform other duties as assigned by management (e.g., cleaning and organizing, making copies, running quotes, making hydraulic hoses, building updates, inventory, service letters, cataloging, ordering bulk oil, checking on back orders, snow removal, filing, returns, retagging parts, accepting payments)*
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of machines, equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applications.
• Skill in using a computer
• Skill in controlling operations of equipment.
Working Conditions:
In this position, you may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, noise, dirt, oil, grease, fumes, chemicals, and various cleaning agents.
