Description:Promote the sale of new Ag Chem Sprayer equipment for NMC in assigned area. The Support Operations Specialist will report to the Director of Ag Sales with liaison to designated Regional Sales Manager.
Duties:•Promote new and used Ag products to customers in assigned territory
•Liaison with Ag Chem. Territory Sale Managers (TSM’s) to increase new and used sales and market share of designated sprayers in Nebraska
•Differentiate equipment with features and benefits
•Identify new sales prospects
•Aid Ag Chem. TSM’s in sales calls to prospects and customers
•Establish rapport and maintain contact with customers and prospects
•Demonstrate Ag equipment to customers
•Attend and work trade shows
•Train customers to properly operate new and used sprayer equipment
•Assist with scheduling of deliveries of equipment
•Promote the sale of Ag parts and services to all customers.
•Represent Nebraska Machinery Company at trade associations when appropriate.
Qualifications:•This position requires excellent customer sales skills with experience in the agricultural sprayer industry.
•Applicant must have strong sales skills with mechanical aptitude; including a working knowledge of product support operations; precision equipped vehicles preferred.
•Practical sprayer equipment experience with proven skills at closing the sale is essential.
•Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are preferred.
•Ability to think analytically to solve customer problems will be important for the success of this position.
•Good communication skills – both written and verbal are mandatory.
•A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field; or an equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education is preferred.
•Person must be self-driven, reliable and have high personal integrity.
•Successful candidate will have the ability to relate to different personalities in the commercial and grower sprayer markets.


Person must possess valid driver’s license and have a good driving record as described in the company handbook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this position require the person be able to drive a vehicle and to operate and demonstrate equipment. The work environment will be performed at trade shows, in the company vehicle and at the customers’ locations.
